All cantonal police units in Switzerland have direct connection to Viasuisse's GEWI-TIC travel information system. This means that the police are able to enter their traffic information direct in the system, e.g. following an accident. The news appears immediately on the Viasuisse editor screen. Where necessary, Viasuisse carries out training for police to ensure trouble-free co-operation.
